If one could compress the Tommy film into a book this would be it.
A visual orgy of pictures, notes, lyrics, and sketches from the making of the Tommy film.
The author was an art school buddy of Pete Townshend’s and later would go on to write an
excellent biography of the Who called Maximum R&B.
There are also interviews with Townshend and film director Ken Russell included.
