The Who On Record

The only book that takes a detailed look at the recordings of the Who, a must-have for hard-core fans.
This is a really helpful book that’s loaded with information about all The Who’s recordings: the sessions,
song backgrounds, and various versions. There is so much interesting information presented in this book
that one is compelled to refer back to it again and again, but because the information is buried in the
narrative using this book as a reference tool (obviously not the authors intent) becomes a challenge. 
Atkins was editor of the Who fanzine Generations, and contributed liner notes to The Who’s CD reissue program.
