season

Who’s coming to Polaris
this summer?

Pete 'Ibwnshend, Roger
Daltrey, J ohn Entwistle and
— uhh, a drummer to be
named later. For now,
their’s will be the last show
of the season at the Polaris
Amphitheater, which just
last week announced its
summer lineup. More
shows will

everyone,
musicer
speaking.
In
May, the
lineup in-
cludes the
Fox Fake
Fest on Sunday, May 12
($10), featuring cover
bands for such artists as
U2, the Beatles, Guns ’N’
Roses, Van Halen, A(‘JDC
and Pink Floyd

On Saturday, May 18,
Alan Jackson will take the
stage with Carolyn Dawn
Johnson ($45, $37.50 and
$2350). -

June offers seven
shows, starting with Usher
on Thursda , June 6 ($47.50,
$37.50 and 23.50). Special
guests will include NAS,
Faith Evans and Mr.
Cheeks.

A new addition on Sun-
day, June 9, will bring in '
Bad Company and Foreign-
er. Tickets go on sale at 5
pm. Friday. Prices had not
been announced by press
time. ‘

On Tuesday, June 11, the
former frontmen for Van
Halen, David Lee Roth and
Sammy Hagar, will join to-
gether for a duel concert
event. Tickets go on sale at
5 pm. Friday.
