1963 – The Detours play the Grand Ballroom in Broadstairs, Kent

1965 – The Who pre-tape their first appearance on Radio Luxembourg’s Ready Steady Radio! at the Marquee Club. The show is broadcast on the 31st.

1966 – The Who play an earlier show at the Adelphi in West Bromwich

1966 – Disc Weekly runs an article entitled : “Who’s Keith Moon: Home Boy At Heart.” It contains a rare interview with his mum Kathleen Moon who says “Keith doesn’t smoke, drinks only in moderation and doesn’t bother much about girls.” Mom apparently doesn’t know best or doesn’t let on since Keith is then living at home with his pregnant girlfriend Kim.

1966 – The Who play the Smethwick Baths Ballroom in Smethwick, Staffordshire

1966 – The play a show at the Smethwck Baths Ballroom in Smethwick at 10:30pm

1968 – Sydney Stadium is the next stop on the Australian tour. The groups play on a revolving stage but the weight of the equipment breaks the mechanism and the view is obscured for two-thirds of the audience.

1969 – A nine-minute interview with the “Woo” is shown on Nederland 2’s Later.

1975 – John Entwistle and his band The Ox play Liverpool University

1983 – Billboard magazine carries and article entitled “The Who’s ‘Final Concert’ Offers ‘Live’ Ambience” by Laura Foti

1985 – Pete Townshend’s solo album White City – A Novel is certified gold by the RIAA.

2003 – “Living Famously – Keith Moon” is first aired

2008 – The third title in the Wheels on the Bus series, The Wheels on the Bus: Mango’s Big Dog Parade, is released on DVD. Roger Daltrey again voices and sings as Argon the dragon bus driver.
