1967 – The Who play The Beach Ballroom in Aberdeen, Scotland.
1967 – Billboard magazine features a full page ad for “I Can See For Miles”
1967 – New Musical Express carries an ad for The Who’s upcoming tour.
1968 – The Who fly to Bremen, Germany where they mime to “Magic Bus” for Beat Club. Part of their performance is included in The Kids Are Alright. Before the taping, Pete and Keith “mention the war” by imitating Nazis.
1970 – The Who play the Free Trade Hall in Manchester
1970 – New Musical Express’s “The Man and his Music” features part 1 of “Pete Townshend and his Music”
1973 – Roger picks his favorite dozen songs on BBC Radio 1’s My Top 12.
1973 – “The People” carries an article titled “Life with Mad Keith Moon” featuring quotes from Keith, Kim and Dougal
1974 – John is interviewed at Ramport Studios for the second of a four-part interview program with The Who for BBC Radio 1.
1975 – The Who play the Kings Hall at the Belle Vue Zoological Gardens in Manchester
1976 – The Who play the San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, California
1982 – The Who play Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky
1989 – The Who bring their 25th Anniversary extravaganza to England for the second of four performances at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham
1994 – Roger and John perform “Daltrey Sings Townsend” at the Concord Pavilion in Concord, California
2000 – The Who play Madison Square Gardens in New York, New York
2002 – The John Entwistle Band’s Left For Live is released in the U.K. re-mastered by Eastworld Records
2005 – Pete and Roger spend the day in New York promoting the Tommy/Quadrophenia DVD. Roger appears on Fox and Friends accompanied by Peter Gabriel. Later, Pete and Roger hold a photo op at the Samsung Experience Store at the Time-Warner building in New York to announce the release of DVD and a special promotional deal with Samsung Electronics who offer a copy of the DVD with HDTV and Home Theater purchases.
