1957 – Pino Palladino is born in Cardiff, Wales

1963 – The Detours play the Oldfield Hotel in Greenford

1969 – The Who play at Holy Cross College Gymnasium in Worcester, Massachusetts with Ascension supporting

1970 – The 3rd Pete Townshend Page appears in Melody Maker. In “On the road again” Pete gives his impressions of life on tour.

1970 – New Musical Express’ cover features an ad for the “See Me, Feel Me” single

1972 – Keith is photographed by Jack Kay for the Daily Express with his daughter and his collection of cars.

1975 – The Who fly out of Glasgow Airport for their next stop. All except Keith that is, who is arrested after bashing a ticket terminal. He spends the night in jail and is fined the next day in court. As a result, British Airways refuses to fly any of the members of The Who to their shows and they are forced to hire a private jet

1981 – MCA’s new cash-in on The Who’s back catalog Hooligans hits the U.S. charts. It contains the first U.S. LP releases of “Let’s See Action,” “Join Together” and “Relay.” It peaks at #52.

1982 – The Who play Colorado University’s Folsom Field in Boulder. Jethro Tull and John Cougar open.

1996 – The Who play the General Motors Place in Vancouver British Columbia, Canada

2002 – The U2 guitarist The Edge is quoted approving of The Who continuing with Pete and Roger: “…if they really think it’s still happening, then I’m certainly not gonna second-guess them.”,

2009 – Roger plays at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, California

2017 – Globo in Brasil posts an interview with Pete where he talks about the likelyhood of a new album by The Who, music he’s currently interested in, and his legacy
