1972 – The Who’s newest single, “Relay” backed with “Waspman,” is released in Britain. It is The Who’s last non-album single and peaks at #21.

1973 – The Who play the Sundown Theatre in Edmonton, London

1982 – In Listener magazine, Paul Gambaccini writes an article called “The Who; now for their last final appearance.” He believes The Who will eventually return in some form. As it turns out, he is correct although it would be 31 months before The Who would appear onstage again and six and a half years until the next tour.
