1964 – The Who play the Florida Rooms in Brighton

1965 – The Who play the Pavilion Ballroom in Worthing, Sussex

1966 – Ready, Steady, Goes! is broadcast featuring a performance by The Who

1967 – The Who mime to “Mary-Anne With The Shaky Hands” on the last episode of Twice A Fortnight.

1967 – Billboard magazine carries a short review of “The Who Sell Out”

1972 – The Who’s newest single, “Relay” backed with “Waspman,” is released in Britain. It is The Who’s last non-album single and peaks at #21.

1972 – Chris Charlesworth interviews John in New Musical Express. John discusses his new solo band and gives Chris a tour of his mansion in Gloucestershire.

1973 – The Who play the Sundown Theatre in Edmonton, London

1975 – The Who play the Hammersmith Odeon in Hammersmith, London

1978 – Billboard magazine carries an ad for Who Are You

1982 – In Listener magazine, Paul Gambaccini writes an article called “The Who; now for their last final appearance.” He believes The Who will eventually return in some form. As it turns out, he is correct although it would be 31 months before The Who would appear onstage again and six and a half years until the next tour.

1985 – Pete and his band Deep End perform at the Dominion Theatre in London.

1999 – The Who play the Shepherd’s Bush Empire in Shepherd’s Bush, London
