1966 – The Who play the Queen’s Ballroom in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire
1967 – The Who stop into the bar the Green Turtle in Baton Rouge and get on stage to jam a version of “My Generation” with a local band who were just out of high school. The band gives their New Orleans Saints jerseys to The Who
1970 – The Who play the Civic Hall in Dunstable. Pete wears his tie-dye version of his usually white boiler suit and destroys a Gibson SG at the end. The supporting acts were to have included Wishbone Ash but at Keith’s insistence, they are replaced by Roger Ruskin-Spear and his Giant Kinetic Wardrobe.
1989 – The Who play the Pontiac Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan
1995 – Ringo Starr’s All-Starr Band, featuring John Entwistle on bass, play the Warwick Music Theatre in Warwick, Rhode Island
1997 – The Who play the Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan

1999 – The John Entwistle Band plays the Emerging Artist’s Stage at the Woodstock ’99 Festival in Rome, New York
2002 – The coroner of Las Vegas announces his preliminary report that John’s death was a massive heart attack brought on by cocaine use

2017 – The Who play the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan
