1967 – The Who play Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Nebraska
1968 – The Who play the Melody Fair in North Tonawanda, New York
1969 – The Who play The Pavilion in Bath
1970 – Nancy Lewis of The Who’s U.S. management organization, accepts the Gold record award for Live At Leeds at the Decca Records Sales and Promotion Meeting in New York.
1971 – The Who play the first of four shows at the Music Hall in Boston. Massachusetts. The Who don’t lower their sound for the small size of the Music Hall and when people in the audience stick their fingers in their ears, Pete threatens to throw his guitar at them. Mylon is the opening act
1974 – Pete and Keith appear at Eric Clapton’s show at the Palm Beach International Raceway in Florida and are joined by Joe Walsh. Clapton, Townshend and Walsh perform “Layla” and “Little Queenie” and Keith comes out to sing “I Can’t Explain.”
1976 – The Who play the Capital Centre in Landover, Maryland. The group Law opens
1999 – The compilation CD NYC Ska Mob & Friends is released with a ska version of “Rough Boys” called “Rude Boys” by The Stubborn All-Stars.
2002 – The Who play Madison Square Gardens in New York City, New York
2004 – The Who play the Alexander & Baldwin Amphitheatre at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Maui, Hawaii
