1963 – The Detours play the Oldfield Hotel in Greenford

1968 – The Who play the Jaguar Club in Saint Charles, Illinois

1969 – The Who fly to New York

1971 – The Who play the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

1977 – Filming of The Kids Are Alright continues with views of Keith taking in the nightlife of Los Angeles. The crew ends up at The Pleasure Chest, a sex equipment shop, where Keith dons a leather mask and is interviewed while being whipped by Mary Ann Zabresky.

1997 – The Who play in Raleigh, North Carolina at the Walnut Creek Amphitheatre

2001 – Quadrophenia opens as a play adapted by Daniel Buckroyd at the Hampshire Youth Theatre, Nuffield Theatre in Southampton.

2001 – Roger Daltrey is a guest on Bill Maher’s ABC-TV program Politically Incorrect. Also during this month, Roger and his wife Heather appear on the Wolfgang Puck show airing on The Food Network.

2004 – A new DVD edition of The Who Live At The Isle Of Wight 1970 is released featuring a 5.1 sound mix and a Pete Townshend interview on the show. It is also shown at select theaters across the U.S.

2004 – Rachel Fuller’s CD Cigarettes & Housework is released. Pete plays acoustic and electric guitar on the CD and one song co-written by Townshend and Fuller, “Jigsaw,” is included as a bonus on CD’s sold at Barnes & Noble bookstores

2005 – ICE magazine reports that Jon Astley is working on a three-DVD Who set modeled after the Beatles Anthology DVD’s. Jon says actors may be considered to portray the deceased John Entwistle and Keith Moon in interview clips between concert footage. The idea never gets past the planning stages.
