1965 – The Who play the Oasis Club in Manchester

1970 – The Who play Halle Münsterland in Münster, Germany

1970 – Record Mirror reports that 1.3 million copies of Tommy have been sold in 8-track format.

1977 – Keith ends his three year on-and-off residency in Los Angeles for good. After his arrival in London he tries to go cold turkey from alcohol and drugs to prepare for the upcoming Who recording, but it prompts another seizure and he has to be hospitalized for a few days. When he comes out his beard of the recent year has been shaved off.

1984 – Roger attends the U.S. premiere of the play Amadeus starring Tom Hulce as Mozart at Lowe’s Tower East Theatre in New York.

1986 – Bruce Eder reviews The Who bootleg Dancing In The Street in Goldmine

1994 – Roger is staying at the Mark Hotel in New York City when he is awakened by the sound of his next-door neighbor Johnny Depp trashing his hotel room during a fight with his girlfriend Kate Moss. Depp is arrested after smashing two 17th Century paintings, a glass tabletop and a few shelves. Roger is unimpressed telling a reporter The Who could have managed that much damage in a few seconds.

1994 – Paul Weller releases the video Live Wood in the U.K. featuring a cover of “Magic Bus”

2006 – The Who play the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

2007 – Amazing Journey: The Story of The Who has its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. Hollywood Reporter calls it “an enjoyable enough primer” while Variety dubs it “an automatic addition to the boomer fan’s DVD shelf.”

2016 – The Who play the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle in Stuttgart, Germany
